3 Reasons why recycling is important

Many of us have heard about recycling, but not all of us are diligent about caring for, loving and preserving our planet (and therefore, all of us). Recycling is more than fulfilling a civil task. 1. When we recycle, we fight against climate change! Recycling reduces the work and energy required for extraction, transportation and production of new raw materials. This means less CO2 in the atmosphere.
2. We manufacture new products that would come from discarded waste
3. We preserve the environment. Classified and recycled plastics (alongside other recyclables) are redirected to the places designated for reuse, without reaching our oceans or unwanted places.
As a mother, I feel a great responsibility to teach my children the importance of recycling. I try to emphasize that we are doing our small part for their future and their children’s future. I tell them that recycling and regrouping wisely will keep our planet, our home, and our treasure alive.
There are little things we can all do to move towards a more eco-friendly life:
1- Have two garbage cans, one for waste and the other for plastics and cardboard.
2- Use more cloth towels.

4- Buy products that are made from recycled plastic
If we recycle correctly, we contribute to the circular economy. Circularity is the ability to keep plastic (or any resource) in use for as long as possible and getting the most we can from it, recovering the resources to make new products. This gives a product a circular life, greatly reducing the likelihood that it will become waste and end up in the environment.

Muchos de nosotros hemos oído hablar del reciclaje, pero no todos somos diligentes en cuidar, amar y preservar nuestro planeta (y por lo tanto, todos nosotros). Reciclar es más que cumplir una tarea civil. Como señala From Single Use to Reuse, trabajamos por el bienestar de nuestras generaciones futuras. Éstos son algunos de los beneficios del reciclaje:
1. ¡Cuando reciclamos, luchamos contra el cambio climático! El reciclaje reduce el trabajo y la energía necesarios para la extracción, transporte y producción de nuevas materias primas. Esto significa menos CO2 en la atmósfera.

Les digo que reciclar y reagrupar sabiamente mantendrá vivo nuestro planeta, nuestro hogar y nuestro tesoro.
Hay pequeñas cosas que todos podemos hacer para avanzar hacia una vida más ecológica:
1- Disponer de dos botes de basura, uno para residuos y otro para plásticos y cartón.
2- Usa más toallas de tela.

4- Compre productos que estén hechos de plástico reciclado
Si reciclamos correctamente, contribuimos a la economía circular. La circularidad es la capacidad de mantener el plástico (o cualquier recurso) en uso el mayor tiempo posible y sacar el máximo provecho de él, recuperando los recursos para fabricar nuevos productos. Esto le da a un producto una vida circular, lo que reduce en gran medida la probabilidad de que se convierta en un desperdicio y termine en el medio ambiente.
