Pregnant Women Can

I have the privilege of being an ambassador for one of the most fabulous hair care brands, Herbal Essences. Their values and concern for women fill me with pride for being part of the Herbal Essences family.

When I was asked to participate in their amazing Pregnant Women Can Campaign and saw the fabulous and inspiring campaign video, I fell completely in love with the message. I completely identified with the message and I will confess that I cried the first time I saw this video.

Herbal Essences understands that women are unstoppable forces that achieve amazing things every day and that they do not stop with pregnancy. Before this year's Mother's Day holiday, the brand recognized expecting mothers through its "Pregnant Women Can" campaign  with an anthem video that highlights how women pursue their passions every day and do so for two. When it comes to pregnancy and making decisions, there will be a lot of people telling women what they cannot do but, Herbal Essences is encouraging women to celebrate all the things they CAN do.

On May 1st, I traveled to New York City to be part of the panel for this campaign with three amazing women and co-panelist: Hillary Scott, co-lead singer of the Lady Antebellum, Bridget Brager, Herbal Essences Celebrity hair stylist and Nancy Redd author and panel moderator. During the panel, we had the opportunity to share with the audience our experiences as mothers and moms-to-be, how difficult pregnancy can be when you have an unconventional job, and how we balance our time between family and personal goals.

At the time of this event, I was 27 weeks pregnant so it was a great experience talking and sharing my own history of pregnancy and how women can be mothers and be successful in what we do. It means the world to me to be pregnant and continue working, doing what I love, and sharing with all of you my passion for fashion, lifestyle and my blog.

Being a part of this campaign was a relevant and incredible experience for me and I loved sharing it with this amazing team and panelists. Yes, women can do it all! We can be pregnant, we can be moms and we can also pursue our dreams.
